Päivittää: ostin puhelimen uusi AT & T 09.21.2009. Samana päivänä, olen peruuttaa sopimuksen ja maksaa alussa peruutusmaksua. Se ei ole sidottu sopimus. Puhelin ei ole koskaan ollut käytössä.

(What I tried to say is) I bought the phone brand new at AT&T on 09/21/2009. Never opened it, still sealed in shrink wrap. The same day, I canceled the contract and paid the early termination fee. The phone has never been activated, nor is it tethered to any account. The warranty IS transferable. Hope that clarifies a lot of questions.

EDIT: I just got off the phone with Apple and AT&T support. According to the Apple tech, the phone likely shipped with OS 3.0, not 3.1 - it will say which version when connected to iTunes (still sealed, haven't done this yet). Also, it IS locked even though the contract is paid off.
