MYYTY: Mac Pro (Late 2013) 3.7GHz Xeon, 12GB RAM

I have 2 identical Mac Pros 2013 with
3.7 GHz Quad Core 22-nm Xeon E5-1620v2
12 GB of 1866 MHz DDR3 ECC SDRAM
and dual AMD FirePro D300 graphics processors with 2 GB of GDDR5

They were used as software development machines with a lot of writes, so unfortunately both stock 256GB SSDs are faulty and can no longer be formatted. It can be replaced with Apple proprietary SSD (expensive) or any M2 NVMe (1TB Samsung goes for 65 euros in Verkkokauppa) with 12$ adapter.

Both boot in recovery mode was just fine.

While it is true that Apple has not been using standard M2 connectors on MacPros and MacBooks, there are plenty of adapters around for 5-10 euros range. NVME SSD can be used with a suitable adapter.
Mac Pro has Apple proprietary connector for SSD’s.
