En pääse The Movies Onlineen, kun tulee herja että tietoliikenneyhteyksissä on ongelmia (connetion refused). Feralin sivulita löytyy jonkinlainen ongelmanratkaisu
josta ei ota mitään selvää, menee hieman puucee-puolelle.

Onko muilla ollut tällaista ongelmaa ettei pääse The Movies Online.

Problem

You receive connection error messages when trying to connect to The Movies Online, or need the port number to configure your router/gateway/proxy/firewall.

Explanation

The Movies Online connects to Lionhead's servers in order to download props and awards, and to upload your movies.

When connecting through a router, gateway, firewall or proxy, sometimes the connection is blocked. This is often avoidable by using the automatic connection settings in the game, but sometimes it is necessary to manually configure these devices to allow communication between the game and Lionhead's servers.

Solution
If you are not responsible for the router/gateway/proxy/firewall, contact your system or network administrator.

If you know how to set up your device and are looking for the port number, it is 9280.

If you do not know how to set up your device, you may need to contact the device manufacturer. Due to the vast number of different routers and proxies available, Feral cannot provide support for them.

A good troubleshooting step is to try connecting directly to the Internet via a single modem. This is not subject to the same port blocking or forwarding restrictions as when connecting through other devices, and can narrow the problem down to either your Mac's configuration, or the configuration of your device.
