Finnish translator [positions already filled]

We're App Store Translations and we're looking for people who are able to translate from English to Finnish. We focus our business on translations for iPhone, iPod touch and iPad applications.

All the translators who are interested must be:

- Finnish native speaker.
- fast.
- have a good knowledge of the field (what is the iPhone, App Store etc.).
- responsive (check the email box at least three times a day: morning, afternoon and before to go to sleep).

Of course it's a paid job.

Greetings to you, first: Apple strore employee emails are ending apple.com, but served, the pseudonym "I was working there " second: how did you register here, when you're supposedly an American, you need to know how to do something in Finnish, that you could have an encrypted reply to the question. Fake.

There are some concerns about your announcement because there is already a company called App Store Translations, but I have already learnt it is not your company (eg. not the same, though the name is exactly the same). That is why additional information would propably be a good thing to clear things out.

Miten sinun työhistoriasi liittyy ketjun aloittajan luotettavuuteen? Eihän aloittaja ole edes väittänyt olevansa App Storessa tai Applella töissä.

first- try asking those people at App Store Translations.com who registered this trademark first... They know it. At least they should.

second- don't need to be Finnish to register your site. Just have to be smart.

third- I want to thank you anyway. Thanks to your site I've found 2 translators already. Hope we'll start collaborating soon. I needed them as soon as possible, that's why I made it in a hurry.

fourth- I've never written I'm an Apple employee.

fifth- feel free to remove this thread from the forum if it causes troubles.

The vital part of the response was

All of our
emails end with @appstoretranslations.com not @gmail.

Are you saying you work for them or not?

Thankfully no.
We are provider of translations and work for major translations firms.

I was looking for young translators (especially for Scandinavian languages) in these days.
We needed them quite in a hurry, so I'm very sorry if it sounded sketchy or something.

All the other terms related to the job itslef will be discussed in private with the translators.

I want to tell you in advance that I'm not going to visit this thread again, so... good luck for everything, everybody!

Please believe me, I am not accusing you of anything at all. You have to understand that in the world of nigerian hoax variants everyone should be as cautious as possible.

I understood all the possibilities of being wrong here, and I was hoping co-operational spirit to clear things out. I was trying to be as polite as I can.

More information about your company would probably do a lot in the eyes of the forum users. City, address, phone number etc.

Ofcourse there can be two identically named companies in different countries in the world. If the other company stole your business idea and name, maybe you should just say so. Unfortunately we have no common means to find out these kind of things reliably.
