Hi everyone
I agree that you really should call to Apple and make yourself heard. However, in Finland this has only faint echo and all you can hear is your brains which are yelling in agony while you try to explain that the iphone isn't broken but you need to revert back to old version.
First I called to Apple Care Finland. There was this "choose 1 to..." voice which said that I should press 4 for iphone support. That selection said:
"Call Phone dealer." and then disconnected. This is what we call "Reilu meininkin" here in Finland.
So I called to Sonera. My dealer. Sonera said that this is a software problem hence it is not their problem. call to Apple.
Calling Apple again and I selected iPod support. (So Genious move.) I had a short chat with them (About 90 minutes) of this situation and I had to correct about five times that my problem isn't iphone and it isn't Pioneer. My problem is that it is prevented somehow to downgrade iphone... and that is my problem because thats is just what I want to do now. So they blamed me and my stupid move to buy Pioneer in first place. Well no... they didn't said that straight, but that is how it feels like to hear: "We cannot do anything for it because Pioneer isn't our device and you should be aware that this might happen when you upgrade your iphone." Well.. Actually... I could not even think about anything like this to happen.
How come "Made for iphone 3G/3GS" player refuses to work after one freaking upgrade?!
So I called to Pioneer and they was kind of sad about all this. I can understand this because they keep answering phone calls of customers who actually believes that this problem is caused by Pioneer. Because their God Apple said so.
Then I walked to Sonera store and queued about 30 minutes just to explain that I want to downgrade my phone. They gave me 0600- number to call and then - without saying a word to me - service dude just turned his back on me and answered his phone.
They try to think of some solution. Even that they dont find any, I cannot blaim them. This is not caused by Pioneer. Not by Harmann Kardon, Sony, Renault, Ford... or any other manufacturer.
And I dont ask Apple to Fix ios4. All I want is Some way to downgrade my iphone!
I am SO **cking frustated that I will jailbreak this just because I can immediatly when it is possible. I will **cking jailbreak my friends phones even that they dont me to do that. I will jailbreak my Apple 1 and if it is not possible I'll just break it. I jailbreak my Apple keyring. Actually. Done. And I will... Argh... Just.. paholainen.
