I have one of these that I do not use, and I want to sell it.

Question: how do I get all of the backed up data that is stored in it, dumped out of it?

Connect to your time capsule shared disk with Finder. Delete (move to trash) the disk image file in there - there's one disk image that contains the whole backup of your computer. Empty trash. That's it.

If you want to empty the disk more secure, you can use AirPort Utility for that. Go to AirPort Utility --> Your Time Capsule --> Edit --> Disks --> Empty disk --> then you can choose how many times you want to overwrite the data with 0. If you don't overwrite data, it might be recoverable. If you choose to overwrite 35 times, it shouldn't be recoverable.
