No, really, I am on these matters related to NETWORK.

Thanks to some changes in life (unemployment, divorce, stopped drinking, single-parenting, etc.), I gave up (sold) my iMac, another MBP, disconnected my printer and everything else from the company router, including my old school Time Capsule.

In their place, I have a 2011 MBP, an iPhone 4, another iPhone 4 and an iPad Air. I am using iCloud to back of the phööns and pad, but nothing for the MBP, i.e., the Time Capsule is just sitting in a box.

I have a DNA 4G LTE USB stick thing for connecting to the intrawebs, and have made a home network (Wi-Fi) for my son and I.

QUESTION: with this simple set-up, can I still somehow use the 1TB Time Capsule for backing up the MBP, and perhaps even getting the old Brother printer back in the network?

It (USB stick ---> Network) is plugged into the MBP. MBP and iPad use the network. We only update our iPhones to iCloud through Wi-Fi network.

I think you can connect a Time Capsule to an existing network, but from what I've read, it only works reliably with an Ethernet connection and trying to get it working via Wi-Fi is a world of hurt.

Easiest way to solve Your situation is to buy a router with USB stick support for internet connection.
Then You can connect the TC to that router and get it work in Your home network.
