Differences between Test Drive and the full version of Office 2004

The Office 2004 Test Drive differs from the full version in the following ways. However, items that are unavailable in the Office Test Drive are available in the full version of Microsoft Office 2004 for Mac.

Printing is not available.
The Office Setup Assistant is not available for installing the Office 2004 Test Drive. To install the Office 2004 Test Drive, drag the Microsoft Office 2004 folder to your Applications folder.
The Microsoft End-User License Agreement (EULA) is not available in the Office Setup Assistant. You can view the EULA only when you first launch the Office Test Drive.
Only the Dots and Elegant templates for creating newsletters, brochures, menus, and catalogs using a wizard are available.
Only a limited set of templates for each Group listed in the Project Gallery is available.
Proofing tools are available only for English, French, and Japanese languages.
The Microsoft Office 2004/Additional Tools folder has been removed for the Office 2004 Test Drive.
The Remove Office folder is now located in the Microsoft Office 2004 folder on your hard disk.
Microsoft Messenger for Mac is not available in the Office 2004 Test Drive. You can download the most recent version of MSN Messenger from the Microsoft Web site at http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId= ... lcid=0x409.
All messages that you send by using Entourage will include the following text: "Sent using the Microsoft Entourage 2004 for Mac Test Drive."
While you are using Entourage, copies of messages that you receive from a POP mail account are stored on the server. That way, you can still receive them in your previous e-mail program. If you purchase the full version of Office 2004 for Mac, you might prefer to store messages on your computer instead, by doing the following:

Excel and Word documents display an Office 2004 for Mac Test Drive watermark in the background. During a PowerPoint slide show, the slide background displays a PowerPoint 2004 Test Drive watermark. These watermarks are not saved in the file and will not print in Microsoft Office 2004 for Mac.
