Blu Ray -asema Mac Prohon
Jos ostaa pamautan SATA-väyläisen Blu Ray -aseman, niin voinko itse heittää sen Mac Pron sisälle?

Tuossa kysyttiin voiko sen heittää koneen sisälle itse. Siihen vastasin. Ja jos haluatte välttämättä, vastauksen oikeellisuuden voitte kiistää..
Toimivuudesta: "Reader Comments: Matshita (sometimes sold under Panasonic name - but drive reporting usually shows Matshita-Mike) BD-MTL SW-5582, in OWC external FW enclosure G5 Tower running OS X 10.47 server, also tested on OS X 10.5.1
Some time ago I submitted a report on the above configuration. I mentioned then that Retrospect 6.1 (with latest drivers), can backup and restore to 25 GB DVR-R disks without any problems - I have been doing nightly backups using this configuration. I haven't yet tried DVR-RE disks or 50 GB disks because they cost too much (per GB).
I also tested burning and verifying with Toast 8.0.3 and had no problems. Unfortunately, at the time I hadn't actually tried to read one of those disks with the Finder. Recently I found that the Finder in OS X "Tiger" can't read the disks burned by Toast. However, I connected the FW enclosure to my MacBook Pro running Leopard, and the disks were recognized and readable. I'm only burning data disks, not HD video or anything like that."
